A Merry Week!
Hey you all! I hope you are doing good! I am so excited to tell you about this week! We have had so much fun during this christmas season! We have been seeing snow and joy in so many hearts! Monday we had a lesson with our friend Daniel and his sister at chick fa le! It was awesome! We shared testimonies and more! They are interested in church and meeting with us more. Tuesday we asked our friend Patrick to be baptized! He said yes and is going to try and stop smoking so he can be. Please pray for him to have the faith and strength to stop before the 8th of January. Wednesday we met with our friend Patrice who we haven't been able to visit with for over a month and she now wants to take lessons every week and attend church regularly. Thursday was AMAZING! We had a Zone conference (a meeting with a lot of missionaries) and it was so centered on Christ! We had Christmas festivities and great fun and food! I have a new joy for Jesus Christ after this Christmas in the mission field! After that amazing experience we carroled almost all night! It was so amazing. We were able to sing so good and have so much joy with people as we shared this experience with them. Friday we planned for our upcoming week, visited friends and carroled more along with a dinner at our friends house. We had a great time there. We played guitar, ate food, talked about christmas and shared what we as missionaries do with a bunch of people! We even recieved a christmas present. Now for the best day of the week/month maybe even year! CHRISTMAS! That Saturday we rolled out of bed opened presents with family over facetime and went to play pickle ball. After that we ate, cleaned up had more family time and studied. We then carroled at an adult nursing home and gave them cookies that were made from our good friend Kathy. Following that we had dinner with a wonderful member family the Reids! After that we shared an experience with our WML brother Pitman and his wife. They gave us presents and talked with us. We got to end the night then. Now this is taking a lot of your time but it is worth it! Please continue to read this last little bit. Sunday we had church with our friends the Strawters and most of their family came it was so sweet to see them all there. To end that night we had a mission zoom that changed my life. As we sat there over zoom our mission president shared an experience the mission had and how we are apart of it now. In short we in the Vancouver Washington Mission right now are to go all in and fully do what each of us need to in order to have blessings as promised by revelation. We will see much success. I am so grateful for this life and for everything in it. I am so grateful for each of you and your uniuqe abilities. You are all sons and daughters of God. It will be made known unto all. We can be blessed because of Jesus Christ. There is no time like right now to go all in and recieve the gospel. Learn of it, discover it and think it out in your mind and through prayer. It is real and this christmas I gained the knowledge that there is no one thing more important than our souls. God created them and He is perfect. He loves us and He will show unto us many new truths and great treasures of ever lasting joy as we follow His gospel.
