Transfer News And The Temple

There is always so much to share. First I want to say that I am very grateful for all the support you all give. I hope you are well and enjoy this email! I'll be transferring to a new area this week. The new area is called Van 1st 2nd. I am opening a new area and training in a trio. I've been I a place called Woodland for the last 3 months and that has been amazing. If you ever get the chance to attend the Woodland ward please do! They are full of so much good.  This week we attended the temple with Bishop Dan Perry, his wife and a member named Tim Goff. That was a blast and we got lunch after ;).  Our friends are doing well. We had a couple friends attend church and we found 5 new people to teach this week! One person we found is named Abdule. He over heard us preaching so to say and he said I want to hear more! I thought that was kind of funny. I wish you all the best and I am sorry this week's email is a bit shorter than usual I am going to play some basketball with my z...

The Work Shall Be Accomplished When The Great Jeovah Shall Say The Work It Done

This week was wonderful, however there was lots of meetings and not as much teaching as I'd like! I hope you all have had a good week. I've gotten the chance to text or email many of you during  my mission. For those who haven't been in contact I am sorry and I hope you know you are each in my prayers.  This Tuesday I spent time in a Spanish area on exchanges! It was so fun! I got to do some in Spanish thanks to high-school and living with past Spanish missionaries. Most of the time my companion translated for me though.  Wednesday and Thursday had meetings that I mentioned earlier. They took up 6 hours each day. It was well worth it. Elder Bragg of the 70ty presided at those meetings.  Friday we had interviews with our mission president! On the way I was prompted to check our tire pressure and we e...

Good Day Friends

I've had a great week. The mission has been throwing a lot at me and my companion lately, what I mean by that is we've been busy with many events. I am not sure what you consider an event to be but here is some experiences we've had. First on Monday last week a few hours of our pday got cut short because a friend NEEDED us. When we visited his mom passed away. It was a good thing. She's been going through a lot medically and passed comfortably and gently.  Please keep Carl in your prayers as he recovers from his mom passing.  Next Tuesday was normal along with Wednesday and Thursday. Keep in mind the missions "normal" days are still full of preaching the gospel, I love it.  Anyways, Friday comes along and we got to teach our amazing friend Robert. He has been praying to follow Jesus Christ and felt prompted to stop smoking and he is cutting down a LOT! He also said he wants a fellow Christian to guide him to Jesus Christ and I raised my hand and said "pic...
