I have hope that you all are doing good. I am running out of titles for these weekly emails or else I wouldn't usually talk about how long I've been out haha. This week was great! In fact this is probably one of the best transfers I have had! We have one week left till I probably leave! I have been in my area since the middle of January. I'll talk about some awesome things that happened this week! First thing I'd like to mention is that we got to go attend the temple! We did baptisms and an endowment session. This was all great until I felt the spirit say you are going to get a bloody nose. I was in the font when this happened! Luckily I followed the prompting by plugging my nose and leaving the font. I cleaned up my nose and nothing got in the font! My companion then finished my names. I am so grateful for the fullness of the gospel! I now realize after being in the temple that baptism is just the beginning of literally entering into the presence of God. The temple aft...

Mother's Day Is All I Am Reporting On

I love you all! This week was amazing but not to much stood out to me other than some learning from the spirit and my amazing mom! I'll start with talking about my amazing mother then end with a spiritual thought.  Jamie Holt is my mom and she treats me amazing. She often shares gifts, time, and energy. I have appreciated her before but now after 20 years I have more than ever to appreciate her for. I have been in dark and light. My moms hands have always been there in reach. I know many of you have moms. They are amazing. I don't care if she is frustrated at you.. she loves you! I know at times when I listen to my mom I can be brought to tears for the amount of joy I find. Now for my other note. Jesus Christ really understands everything we have been through. Very similar to a mom we can find peace when we follow him. He is on my side. He is on yours. Love, Elder Caleb Holt Washington Vancouver Mission May/9/2022 Pics-

Holy Week

Hello! I hope all of you are doing great. I am excited to share with you some amazing things from this week. One cool thing we got to do as a whole mission is gather in a place called Winlock. The reason we did was to commemorate a past experience our mission had; we were remembering when the mission prayed and moved a metaphorical mountain. Following that experience the mission had more baptisms than ever before and continued that streak for the rest of the year. It was a fun thing to remember and learn from. One other thing I'd like to mention about this week that made it "Holy" is when on Wednesday we attended an MLC (Mission Leadership Council) with Elder Brent Neilson from the presidency of the quorum of the 70ty. He taught us of The Great Commission given in Matthew 28:19-20 and much more! The Great Commission reads, ' 19  Go ye therefore, and  teach  all  nations ,  bapt izing  them in the name of the  Father , and of th...
