New Week!

Image
I love you all!  Another email! I hope that you get to have some fun brain activity when you read these emails, haha.  I'll be brief this week. We had a great stake conference and our mission president trained our stake on some missionary work and that's been great. The members hear give us lots of referrals! It's so good to work so close with them. It feels like home walking into anyone's home. Even when families fight in front of us haha. This week a water line broke and spewed up water onto our muddy porch. Quickly the bishop, whom we live with fixed it after renting a tractor and working for 6 hours. We then showered and made breakfast at another members, haha. Deer sometime run in front of our car and snow get all over the road. I drive slow, I feel like a cowboy when I do this, Yee Yee! There are also some cute cowgirls here and sadly I feel not to talk with them, ahah. There should be some at home waiting for me, lol ;);). Our friends are progressing well, Eleano...

Congrats To Eleanor!

Hey everyone, I hope you are well. I want to update to on a few things. First Eleanor, thank you all for your prayers for her. She is on date for the 3rd of March and we are still trying for our other friends. I know the Lord has every part to do with the work of missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's beautiful to realize that it's not her house, friends, toys or dress that will bring Eleanor peace, forgiveness and everlasting joy but that it's rhe Savior. Our Savior loves us all perfectly. We are Heavenly Father's children. We are all a part of one big family. These simple truths give me great joy always. I could study for a decade and tell you my testimony but the really simple truths of the gospel bless forever. Another update is that I am learning a lot about country folk up here. It's been awesome and sometimes me and my companion practice country talk in the car, haha. I miss you all a lot but I also understand that everyone has...

The Truth Moves Forward

Good afternoon/evening and morning. It is wonderful to have this technology to say hi to you all. I love hearing from you. To share a little bit about my week I wanted to talk about some friends we're teaching, the area and other stuff.  It is a privilege to be teaching Eleanor, Lizzy, Adam and others. I just wanted to mention how the names I shared are doing. It's been miraculous to hop into and area that me nor my companion have been in and be guided to much of God's great work he has for us to do. After visiting with Eleanor for the first time she decided to get baptized. She's a 9 year old girl and has been preparing for a few months now for this step in her life! She fears water, people and other things but knows it's important enough to do and is doing it. Prayers for her experience to be uplifting would be so good for her. Next we get the awesome blessing of knowing Eleanors next door neighbor Lizzy. Lizzy and Eleanor don't know eachother yet which is cra...

New Area!

Image
Hey! I love you all and hope you are doing well. I am excited to tell you about my new area. My companion is Elder Atkinson, he's from Camas UT. He laughs a ton! It's wonderful, especially because my jokes are dry, haha. He loves batman and basketball. We are serving in the Pleasant Valley area. This is in the middle of nowhere it feels like. The people are usually about 15 minutes apart to get to. This makes it hard to find people but I am really excited to try and use the ward members to get this work moving seeing that'll be our only real resource to use. Me and my companion both arrived here last Saturday night. People say there are tons of deer and I've only seen one, they are capping. Anyways, I'll email next week more! This week we had lots of business to get done. I'm great and I hope you are too! If not then get great.  Elder Caleb Holt WVM February, 6, 2023 Pics, me and my new comp. And my last district.
