We Saw Lots Of Miracles This Week!

Image
Good evening everyone. I pray you are well and that the Lord is blessing you.  We had a few lessons this week. Not as much as we were hoping for but you do all you can do and then smile knowing you've done your best. Even though the results seem small for us this week we did see lots of Miracles. We both prayed to hand out a copy of the Book of mormon and we both handed one out. We followed the spirit on where to go and what to do each day and taught several unplanned lessons. Sometimes we need to even treasure up the smallest of Miracles like me really wanting steak this week and then a member feeding us some! I know the Lord loves us and is in the details of our lives. I was able to attend many meetings this week, which can sometimes be boring but I really love meetings. Lots of people don't. We met with all the mission leaders this week and got to learn from one another. Also our ward council and ward Missionary huddles are amazing! The ward helps us a lot here. Our friends ...

Elder Neil L. Andersen Visited Us!

As always, I hope you are well and staying positive. There is hope in any trial as we focus on Jesus Christ teachings.  Thus week was fun. We had interviews with the mission president, a temple tour with a friend, a mission conference, a church tour, a devotional, and much much more.  I love interviews with the mission president. He asked me what I want from my last transfer as a missionary and I said that I want to talk to as many people as I could about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Following that experience I got the opportunity to visit the temple with some members, my companion of course and our dear friend Sen. Sen speaks 4 languages, and loves Jesus Christ. Her whole life she has been driven to and from and never getting to learn much about Christ until we showed up on her door. She loved the temple and has never felt her mind be so clear while she was there. She is praying about being baptized and I'd love your prayers of faith for her as well.  On some other days t...

A Great Week!

Good morning, afternoon or night. I am excited to share with you you all about my week. Most importantly I hope that you remmeber the Savior in whatever you are experiencing. He brings peace to any challenge. I know he wants us to do good and we can always access that power. May we be good sons and daughters of God this week.  We were able to have Bellas baptism go great on Monday night. Her confirmation was yesterday. I am privileged to be able to be a part of that experience! She has 3 siblings who are members but the parents aren't yet, even though they all live together and have all been taught. We hope they can make that change needed to be baptized. Tuesday we had some lessons. Wednesday we did an exchange. I was with Elder Abrams and we got to work hard and have fun. We taught a few lessons! Thursday was Zone Conference. I learned a lot! Of which I keep great notes and wish to not write them again, haha. We learned about Finding people to teach. And best of all we learned mo...

New Area, New Companion, New Goals

Image
Hi everyone, I love you all and miss you. Life is really a big journey. There's so much always going on and I pray that God can influence each of you to feel of His love with whatever struggle you have.  My new area is Hearthwood! Crazy miracles have happened this week. In my second area I put a girl on date named Rocka. Now 7 areas or so later I get to teach her again because she moved here not to long ago. She still hasn't been baptized. She has desires to be still and I would love prayers that I may get that privilege! I love her and it would be amazing to see her obstacles move so she may progress. We've seen many other miracles. I'll share one more. Our friend Nathan that we found yesterday had a spiritual experience the night before we showed up on his door and was amazed all day, then we came by. He knew we were sent by God to share with him everything he needs to know. He is attending our friend Bellas baptism tonight! He is 60+. Somehow I feel like he is my fav...
