Merry Christmas!
Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing great. I miss each of you so much! Anyways this week was very great and interesting! Monday's pday activity was with our zone and we playes lots of games in our church building! We just had transfers last week too so it was super fun to have all tge zone together for the first time!
The next interesting thing was on Thursday! We had a service for one of our friends we are teaching and she needed help with small house work. Luckily I did everything in the best way possible thanks to my dad for the experiences I have had;) we had a lesson right after her service and so we needed to change and so we changed there and she said we would love some "Jesus music" while we change haha. She played some parodies of 60's music that was singing about bible verses haha! So that was fun haha!
This week has been super wet! We even got some snow! And that makes me miss snowboarding.
Sunday we had our friend come to church and he started pulling out ciggaretts during class haha. Luckily my companion stopped him! Our friend Patrick is progressing well and getting off cigarretts too! We are hoping we can commit him to quiting this next month so he can be baptized! All he needs taught are the commandments.
Sunday was really special to because we had the traditional christmas sacrament. There was beautiful sounding music with special talks. The thing that stood out to me the most is the divinity of everything we do. Heavenly Father sent his son to die for us and complete the atonement. Because of the atonement we are divine beings. I invite you this christmas to find your divine purpose here on earth and ask God in prayer how you play a role in his plan. I have done this myself and know more of my purpose and am grateful for Heavenly Fathers plan and am excited whenever I can talk about it because it is so helpful and comforting to know his plan! God loves us! You are divine and great in the sight of God. This is such a good time to learn and to remember how important Christ is to us as we celebrate his birth this week. He felt and suffered everything for us so that God could bless us!
Doctrine and Covenants 18:
10 Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;
11 For, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him.
13 And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!
Love you all.
