Happy New Year!
The weeks just keep getting better as I learn more about Jesus Christ. Here are a few things that stood out to me the most. Being obedient! I have always been obedient but these past couple weeks have been insanley good because we have been very very obedient. God blesses us when we do what he asks and we can know this when we follow his teachings. Also throughout the scriptures like in Doctrine and Covenants-130:20-21 " 20 There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated—
21 And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated". I love obedience because it blesses us! Obedience is GREAT. More thing that stand out to me from this week are Rocka getting put on date for Baptism! Our friend overcoming smoking and being happier because of that. He also has a baptismal date. And another thing would be our friend Christopher who is praying about baptism and he wants to be baptized into our church. The work is progressing! God is blessing the work because of your good works and prayers! Because of our members here praying for our friends. Also because our friends are acting in faith and they are coming to know the teaching are true as they experience the joy of choosing that. I am so grateful to be the missionary my parents want me to be and who my mission president wants me to be. I invite you all to find a commandment God has given us and follow it. I know it will bless you and that you will see the blessing. I know God wants you to know he is real. Please let him in and ask youself if God was real what would I do, then act on it. You will KNOW it is true. I pray for you. And I hope you all have the best life this week! I will email next week. I love you all.
