Last Week Of The Transfer And I Am 10 Months Old As A Missionary!

I have hope that you all are doing good. I am running out of titles for these weekly emails or else I wouldn't usually talk about how long I've been out haha. This week was great! In fact this is probably one of the best transfers I have had! We have one week left till I probably leave! I have been in my area since the middle of January. I'll talk about some awesome things that happened this week!

First thing I'd like to mention is that we got to go attend the temple! We did baptisms and an endowment session. This was all great until I felt the spirit say you are going to get a bloody nose. I was in the font when this happened! Luckily I followed the prompting by plugging my nose and leaving the font. I cleaned up my nose and nothing got in the font! My companion then finished my names. I am so grateful for the fullness of the gospel! I now realize after being in the temple that baptism is just the beginning of literally entering into the presence of God. The temple after baptism can and will if done right prepare us to enter into God's presence. This is what is meant by "The Fullness of The Gospel of Jesus Christ".

Next awesome thing is that we had another Elder of the quorum of the 70ty come to our mission! Two weeks in a row! This time we had Elder Pingree. He is awesome and though above the age of 50 or so he gets along with the youth and us so well. That was my favorite part about him. This was really special because unlike the last time a 70ty was here we got to meet as a whole mission to hear from him.

Some more special stuff happened as we taught our friends this week. For one friend he said he will read The Book of Mormon and that he is just waiting for God to tell him when the time is right to be baptized. With another friend we heard a big thank you because he said that for 30 years of being taught we have been the first missionaries who have been " gung ho" about getting him baptized. He now decided at least by the end of summer he will be but he says he still hasn't decided if he wants to be more gung ho about getting baptized. He may just hop in the font at any time, haha. One more miracle is a lady who keeps coming to church all on her own terms and she said when she is ready she'd reach out for the discussions. This week after sacrament she asked if we could give her a call to set up a visit and she wants the lessons. She is amazing. She is a mother and she wants her kids coming to church. I have been here a while, these are just some of the things going on. I am grateful to be in well cultured area and to be a child of God most importantly. I pray I will see the day that these people start experiencing the gifts of God in their life as the strive to keep the commandments and are baptized to have the spirit. I know we can have the spirit when we are worthy. Worthiness is not flawlessness! I urge you to find out what worthiness is and to find a taste of the joy that comes with The gospel of Jesus Christ. I love you all and I hope we search for this in everyday of our lives. I know we can all experience this every day! I promise and declare this in the name of Jesus Christ for in Him all things are that are good, amen.
