We Have 5 Baptisms Coming Up

Hi everyone, it has been so wonderful here in Woodland. I hope you are experiencing the same thing where ever you may be.

This week was amazing for me and my companion. I want to share with you some stories and stuff, then close with maybe a testimony. I hope that you find answers to questions you have as you read this. And this applies to all of you. Anyways here are some good stories.

First, Carl. Carl is a guy we met because someone on Facebook knew he needed help with some stuff in his yard. When we went to help him he wouldn't stop asking about hearing our message and he was serious too! It was wonderful. He said that the service was of less importance and the message was what he wanted. So we shared and after our first lesson which was on Saturday the 30 of July, 2022 he decided he wanted to be baptized and that we would have it on the 13th of August! This guy is awesome. Our next lesson we talked about the commandments and he is following them all! I am so grateful to have met Carl. It makes me happy to know that Carl is coming into God's fold which is my fold and many of yours! In two weeks we'll have his baptism! Please pray for him.            Second story then I may stop sharing... We'll see... This story is about the Crigger family so that if any of you are praying for this family of 7 you can know about their progress. They have a date for the 17th of August to be baptized and 4 of them want that. The others want to learn more. They are getting baptized in a river just like Jesus did because they insisted of it, haha. It is wonderful. And we have made all the plans leading up to their baptism. Not much of a story for you but they are doing good.

Last cool story I'd love to share is about the Conteh family. This family has a Sister who is a recent convert and they are from Africa! They are culturally a little different so if we see them not in clothes sometimes it's fairly normal, it isn't the average American household haha. But we got to teach the family of 8 and they all want to see the temple and learn more about God! They are humble people and do a lot for those around them. Right now they are gathering a whole shipping container full of clothes to send to Africa! That's the Conteh's we hope the kids will be baptized in August and some of our other friends. Woodland is prepared of the Lord.

I love you all and one of the biggest things I have learned this week and applied is hope and faith. When we hope for something it allows us to put our faith into action. God works with us only by faith! If you have no faith God cannot work Miracles in your life. This week I hoped to put Carl, the Crigger's and Conteh's all on a date for baptism and it basically all happened because I had the faith to go over and teach them what they needed for baptism. I promise as you apply faith in God to hope for good things that you will see miracles in your life! I hope for a better world with a steadfastness in Jesus Christ and to be exalted with my Heavenly Father some day! I pray that you hope for this that you may experience with me the perfect and best joy there is. I love you all and wish the best to come. Please reach out if I may be able to help you with anything.
