Good Day Friends

I've had a great week. The mission has been throwing a lot at me and my companion lately, what I mean by that is we've been busy with many events. I am not sure what you consider an event to be but here is some experiences we've had.

First on Monday last week a few hours of our pday got cut short because a friend NEEDED us. When we visited his mom passed away. It was a good thing. She's been going through a lot medically and passed comfortably and gently.

Please keep Carl in your prayers as he recovers from his mom passing.

Next Tuesday was normal along with Wednesday and Thursday. Keep in mind the missions "normal" days are still full of preaching the gospel, I love it.

Anyways, Friday comes along and we got to teach our amazing friend Robert. He has been praying to follow Jesus Christ and felt prompted to stop smoking and he is cutting down a LOT! He also said he wants a fellow Christian to guide him to Jesus Christ and I raised my hand and said "pick me!" and he got joyful and said really and I said yes let's do this! He's a very prepared man. He's read the Book of Mormon 7 times and just now has met the missionaries for the first time.

Saturday we had another awesome lesson like the one with Robert but for sake of time I'll skip it.

Sunday was nuts! We woke up and got a call to give talks in sacrament and of course said yes, however it was tough to say yes because we didn't have time to prepare anything. We had breakfast that morning with a recent convert and had to prepare the sacrament along with showing friends into church. While my companion spoke I prepared what to say haha. It was a busy sabbath, we're busy busy. We got to visit Robert again as well and when we got there, there were 7 people waiting to be taught. People from all over. Africa, USA, etc.. My companion has friends in Africa that are going to teach the people we found from this! Anyways it is so cool to see that people want to hear the gospel and that so many gathered together to hear our words that night.

I am grateful for my greeny companion. He has had to step up to the game real quick and learn a lot this week! I love you all and I wish I could report everything to you. I know your prayers work. My friend Carla in my last area got baptized a few weeks ago. And much more good is occurring. This week I have felt how much we need this gospel on earth. I know it can bless and protect us. I know it can cause so much good for anyone wherever they are at. I love you all and say these thing in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
