Opposition Comes Before Miracles

Hi Brother and Sisters. It is good to be emailing you today! Was your week good? It yes then yay! If no then I mourn with you and hope with you for it to get better. 

This week has been all sorts of hard and good. I had mentioned in my past email that we saw a lot of lessons fall through and we were a bit discouraged. I had a couple different people tell me that as I endure just a little longer that the Lord would bless us so much soon! Upon living that hope that was given to me we saw a load of Miracles this week! A lesson that I learned from this is that Satan knows when good things are going to happen and He'll try and stop those things from going forward. But if we endure it well then we shall have our reward. This week we found 8 new people to teach and had 5 different people attend sacrament meeting. We got to teach some of the most elect people I've met on my mission. Another thing I learned recently from David A Bednars most recent talk is that we can choose to be chosen. You could also say in other words "if ye have desires to serve then ye are called to the work" -Jesus Christ. I know that we can all be a part in helping others come unto Jesus Christ as we desire it. He will give us opportunities! 

One of the most important things I feel impressed to share with you all is that you don't have to be a certain way or someone to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. And that you don't have to be rich, smart, cool, or any other worldly thing to be happy but rather the Gospel of Jesus Christ can make anyone happy and even whole! I know we can access the Gospel of Jesus Christ in many way in today's day and age but I pray that we may use The Book of Mormon. This is where we get the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is how God give us His gospel today. And don't get me wrong the Bible is the word of God as far as it's translated correctly. But this is my prayer to you and I know that Jesus Christ's church is on the earth and the reality of that has cause great change to my soul. You don't need a special witness or story to know these things! I know you will know these things come from the Holy Ghost once you experience it. Ask and ye shall recieve. May God be with you.

Pictures,

Me and my companions have been taking daily pictures, there are a few of those down below. One of the best lesson in my mission were in the del taco we took a picture with. We taught Conner that day. We got to exchange with Elder Steckler and Kisteman as well. I trained Elder Kisteman so I has been fun to serve with him and to spend a day with his companion Elder Steckler. The one other picture I haven't explained is the orange tree and we just found it to be so beautiful especially for Halloween and thought I'd share, haha. Have a good week!
