God Loves Us All
Hi everyone, I have recently added a couple people to this email and I am grateful to have you on, especially my cousin Daxton Green! He has been called and is now set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What a profound statement. For those of you who don't know I also have a cousin named Luke Orchard serving. He has been our for I belive around 8 months and is working hard! I know the Lord has organized such missions. It is an office in the High-Priesthood to be such consecrated, willing and set apart Elders. I know that the more I continue to endure to the end the happier I get, the more I understand God and the more I see His love. For me and these young men it become not much of a sacrifice to be her but a big privilege. I after over 17 months have grown to never want anything else but this work. This young men will grow to fee the same.
I'll explain the reason why I've grown to this. It is first because of my obedience but only because that obedience brings me choice blessings my father in heaven wants for me and for His children. The conservative nature of being a missionary allows us to know how great God is. Then we learn to share that with others. There isn't anything greater than the love of God. I know each of us can have that weather we are missionaries or not. I also know that this doesn't mean sadness is eliminated but rather there is hope, light and joy to be found as we push through the heart ache. This hope all comes from God no matter what it is. Understanding and living Covenants allow us to know what I have shared with you today. Our first covenant is baptism and then we make further Covenants in the temple. Jesus christ says come unto me, come, feel my peace. Whenever we make any of these covenants we do not need to know why exactly but rather we can have faith and be obedient and still recieve such blessings I've talked about. In the Book of Mormon a prophet named Ether says this in Ether chapter 12 verse 12- "For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith."
May God be with you all and have a good 2023, I love you.
