The Truth Moves Forward

Good afternoon/evening and morning. It is wonderful to have this technology to say hi to you all. I love hearing from you. To share a little bit about my week I wanted to talk about some friends we're teaching, the area and other stuff. 

It is a privilege to be teaching Eleanor, Lizzy, Adam and others. I just wanted to mention how the names I shared are doing. It's been miraculous to hop into and area that me nor my companion have been in and be guided to much of God's great work he has for us to do. After visiting with Eleanor for the first time she decided to get baptized. She's a 9 year old girl and has been preparing for a few months now for this step in her life! She fears water, people and other things but knows it's important enough to do and is doing it. Prayers for her experience to be uplifting would be so good for her. Next we get the awesome blessing of knowing Eleanors next door neighbor Lizzy. Lizzy and Eleanor don't know eachother yet which is crazy because they both are planning on being baptized soon. Lizzy it about 13. She also has been preparing for a few months longer than Eleanor but is just as ready, we've been deciding if we should do their baptisms on the same day. Lizzy has a hard family life and prayers for her situation would be great. It's truly a gift to be helping these friends change and to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives. It truly works miracles and leads people on a more holy, safe and happy path. Never does it do otherwise. Our other friend Adam has a huge interest in the book of mormon and is praying about it. He understands that if these things are true than it means Joseph Smith is a prophet and that the Book of mormon contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ. He hopes to have work off so that he can go to church. Please put your faith together in prayer for this friend. He needs us so he can get work off and attend church. He too is taking on change and it shows in his countenance and work. 

It is really awesome to be in Pleasant Valley. We always recieve referrals from the members and we've build great trust with them. Teamed up with our faith great things are happening here. I thought nothing would happen. It's a huge area for our mission and we don't have the miles to work it. Our members take the elders out a lot. A couple guys have taken Elders out every Thursday for 8 years now! I know I am exactly where I'm supposed to be and the Lord is using me daily. I certainly am not perfect but when I focus I Jesus Christ I am brought back into the joyful world of forgiveness and spirit of God. I hope we all focus on christ each day. If we can I'd always focus on him. I pray for you all every night believe it or not. Of course not by name because that's to long, haha but I hope you feel of God's love each day. I know we are all one big family here on earth! I love you and hope you have a great week.
