New Transfer

Hi! I am excited to share about my week with you and hope you have been well.

This week we had two exchanges, one with the Zone Leaders and one with our District Leader. Both were way fun. The areas I went to had a lot of people on the streets to talk to! This is my favorite part of missionary work. Especially when gospel conversations leads to people conversion towards Jesus Christ. One person we talked to had his dog run away and so we got to chase him around for a solid 10 minutes. Many people were pointing fingers and laughing, I think it was funny too! After that we got to teach him and after our message I inviting him to pray about it and he said "well duh" haha. I love this because it shows how prepared he was! I am excited for him to attend church and to keep being taught. His name is Marty. Another person named Carlos answered the door earlier that day and loved what we shared on the door and also wanted to come to church, he was recently co.ing closer to Jesus Christ and he was amazed to start his journey with us. There are so many people I can speak about. I hope I don't bore you. I'll tell you about a couple more. We found a girl named Amber to teach from a member referral and she opened up to us about so much in her life and feels the Book of Mormon could really bless her and her family. She wanted to come to church! This work is so great! I think of the pioneers of this work often and how they helped the church grow in the right way so that we could have it today. As I've pondered this it helps me know the principles to why we do this all. My favorite principle is to build up the kingdom of God. This can be done in so many ways. It is miraculous to spread good, I encourage you all to pray about that. Next, here are some updates about friends we've been working with. 1st, Elenore, her baptism is this week! Everything is set and stone. We are excited for her! Adam our friend got sick and couldn't attend church. We had planned on finding a day for his baptism after church but it didn't happen. Please pray for Him that he may be able to make that step of baptism closer to God. And last update so you all know where our friends are at would be Sheryl. She hasn't been in good contact with us. We aren't sure why. We hope things progress.

I don't want to make this to long, for this transfer I'll still be in Pleasant Valley with my current companion Elder Atkinson. I enjoy the people and the scenery here. It's a close 2nd to St.George. Have a blessed week and know that I am praying for you all.

Love, Elder Caleb Holt
