Bell You All
Hi everyone, I hope you are well and I do miss you. It is amazing to know that God loves you too, even though you are in another state most likely, haha. Hence the purpose of The Book of Mormon and Jesus visiting all people, not just those in the middle east.
This week has been great! Monday was a blast as we had zone pday and got to say by to some departing missionaries. Also we had our most progressing friend at a Members for dinner and it went great! I have never seen Valerie, our friend, so happy! She came to church this week as well and loved it.
Tuesday we went to Vancouver for a doctor's appointment and it was so fun to drive through all my past areas on the way there. It wasn't fun however to drive 4 hours round trip. This day and many others we had members at a total of 9 of our lessons. My companion would say it was only 7 lessons but I think it's 9, lol.
Wednesday was fun as we did some yard work for a recent convert. Then had many lessons. I love the people here unlike any area prior. It's such a small town and everyone knows us because of that. It feels very powerful to tell people that their neighbors have been visiting with us because then they automatically know our message is worth it. It'll be fun to see what transfers bring next week, I hope to stay.
Thursday was interesting and chaotic with schedule changes but we did have interviews and it was my favorite one yet because I got to renew my temple recommend! It is the best to have those questions asked to you! They truly are the world's best questions in my heart.
Friday I love the apartment inspectors reaction to our apartment. They we stunned that it was clean, haha. They said "someone must be a military man" as they stared at my bed. I like to be clean!
Saturday topped off the week as we completed a challenge from our Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders to find two people before 9pm, which happened within 1hr for our companionship, making for a total of 5 new friends we found to teach this week.
Sunday was a sabbath day as usual but something was a little off, oh... our friend Valerie came to church! We had tried so hard for our friends to get to church and people say they will and don't show, so for Val to come we were very pleased. The ward loves her and thought she was a member. I love the Sabbath and it continues to be a delight.
Shout out to my dad, he had a birthday this week!! I don't know if you got invited but I did, haha. He is truly an amazing man. I have extraordinary parents and most of St.george knows that. I love them and invite you to be good like them and wish my dad a happy bday. I love this area and the mission in any area. So many blessings come from the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope we all can remember Jesus Christ in all we do. Thank you for reading. Pictures below!
