New Comp!

I am excited to share about this week with you. I know some of you are doing good, I hope the rest of you are too.

Monday, last week, our lessons canceled sadly but Tuesday made up for it. We had 4 lessons, a service, and a member dinner. Wednesday was great too! We had 2 lessons and a service, haha. There are lots of service opportunities now that the sun's out! Guess what we did on Thursday? Service, haha! That day we also taught 5 friends. Friday we planned the week and didn't get to teach anyone. Saturday we had a couple lessons, a service, attended a baptism and have a member dinner with a friend. There are so many missionary things that happen in missionaries life's. I'll share a couple events in detail, rather than boring you with the day to day stuff.

One story I'll share is about a friend we're teaching (who I'll leave unnamed) and he has moth balls in his home with no airtight seal. I didn't know what moth balls were till this week and so I'll share what they are. They keep moths and mice out of things. Which he need because of the overload of storage he has, just a side note- get ride of old files and junk you will never use! These moth balls are a pesticide and if not kept in a air tight container they can cause health problems to people exposed to the vapors of it. No wonder me and my companion get a headache after being in his home! We are glad we recognized this because he's been living in that for months and has doctors appointments regularly to figure out what's wrong with his lungs ( what's wrong is all the pesticides in his body!). Anytime you buy something that kills bug, animals, and other things make sure you read the instructions! Any of those things used wrong can turn on you for killing. Luckily it'd need to be a long term exposure for us to be harmed (like days, weeks or months) we were only there for 30 minutes. We are saving temporal lives out here, not just spiritual. Something I've learned a lot on my mission and through my life is that if we are healthy spiritually then we are usually healthy temporally too. Anyways, that's a good story.

Thus week I'll inherit another Elder to be in our companionship which will make us a trio of elders. His name is Elder Cullen! Elder Cullen and I went to high-school together. It'll be a perfect way to end the last 6 weeks of my mission. Miracles happen daily here. Tonight we are visiting the temple with our friend Jaime and yes it is spelled right. We hope he can accept a baptismal date tonight! Have a blessed week, I love you all!
