The Highlight Was Exchanges This Week
We have had many emails, only 4 more after this! I hope this week was well for each of you.
I'll start with the good and end with the good in this email. Basically exchanges were key this week in the work. Exchanges are where we switch companions for the day within a companionship. This week I got to be with my Trainy, Elder Kistemann and another good missionary named Elder Shipely. When I was with Elder Kistemann we got to eat with my moms parents and my uncle! It was so good! It taught me a lot and showed me how much they love me because they drove 5+ hours round trip to say hi. I love them. It was great for Elder Kistemann too. He loved the personality of each person and was grateful for such good food we had on the Columbia River! I was emotionally drained after that and had a headache all the rest of the day, haha. It will certainly be an adjustment coming home. Following that we got to find about 4 new friends to teach, all of which are exactly what we look for I'm friends who progress. I won't get to have time to tell you all about them. The second exchange was wonderful. We ended up teaching 3 out of the 4 the people we found on the first exchanges. Usually you set up a lesson get excited and then they cancel but this day was the opposite and they all confirmed the lessons. It was heavenly!
It was Father's day this Sunday and I want to say thank you to my dad and other dads! Especially because I had to replace both of my tubes on my bike this week and I wouldn't of known what to do unless my dad drag me into fixing my own bike as a kid one of the times. May God shine his light on all dads out there. One other thing I'll mention is a Happy Birthday to my sister Peyton!! Big 15.
I've enjoyed sharing this today, I hope it has been fun to read. Till next time, Elder Caleb Holt.
